Description

Juicy and flavorful air fryer meatballs made with a mix of ground beef and pork, seasoned with Italian herbs and Parmesan.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 slice soft bread
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F according to the manufacturer’s directions.
  2. Tear the bread into small pieces, blend with water and let it sit for a few minutes to soak.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and the soaked bread. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Shape into 1.5 to 2-inch meatballs, yielding about 20 to 24.
  5. Lightly grease your air fryer basket and arrange the meatballs in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, checking with a meat thermometer to ensure they reach 160°F.
  7. Let the meatballs rest for a moment before serving.

Notes

Serve with pasta, in a sub, or pair with a salad or roasted vegetables. They also store well in the fridge for leftovers.
