- 1 pound Ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 small head of Cabbage, chopped
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Carrots, diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 cups Beef broth
- 1 can Diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: herbs like thyme or bay leaves
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Transfer the cooked beef to your slow cooker.
- Add the chopped cabbage, onion, carrots, garlic, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
- Cover and set your slow cooker to low for 6 to 8 hours, or high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Before serving, taste and adjust the seasoning as necessary.
Notes
Serve with crusty bread or warm rolls. Adds a sprinkle of fresh herbs for an extra touch.
