- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, and black pepper to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes, refrigerate for up to 2 hours for better flavor absorption.
- Preheat the Blackstone griddle over medium heat. Add olive oil and let it warm up.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken on the griddle.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve.
Notes
For a smoky twist, add a dash of smoked paprika to the marinade. You can also experiment with different herbs or citrus zests.
