Description

Delightful Cookies and Cream Cookies combining classic chocolate cookies with creamy white chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
  3. In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy and pale, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients on low speed until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until well coated.
  7. Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheets, flattening slightly.
  8. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and just golden. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra decadence, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
