- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 Oreo or chocolate sandwich cookies, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
- In a larger bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy and pale, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until well coated.
- Scoop out about 2 tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheets, flattening slightly.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes until the edges are set and just golden. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra decadence, consider adding a pinch of espresso powder to enhance the chocolate flavor.
