- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear chicken until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Lower the heat, add butter and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in cream, stirring to deglaze, and mix in Parmesan cheese. Let simmer until thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through and well-coated with sauce.
Notes
Perfect for serving with pasta, rice, or crusty bread. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
