Description

A delightful twist on classic Rice Krispie treats infused with creamy strawberry puree and topped with whipped cream, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup strawberry puree
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh strawberries for topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the strawberry puree and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the Rice Krispies until well combined.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Spread whipped cream over the cool mixture and top with fresh strawberries.
  8. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using homemade whipped cream. These treats can also be stored at room temperature for up to three days.
