Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Description

Delightful homemade treats combining rich dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings guilt-free.


Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Flaxseed
  • 10 ounces Dark Chocolate Chips
  • A pinch Sea Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a muffin tin with 6 muffin liners.
  2. Mix peanut butter and ground flaxseed in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Melt dark chocolate chips until smooth either in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  4. Pour 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate into each muffin liner. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  5. Add 2 teaspoons of peanut butter mixture in the center of each cup. Freeze for 5 minutes.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon melted chocolate on top to seal. Optional: sprinkle with sea salt, and freeze for 10 more minutes.
  7. Remove from muffin liners and enjoy, or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

For variations, try almond butter, add cayenne for a spicy kick, or mint extract for a refreshing twist.
