Description

A comforting and indulgent gluten-free lasagna layered with creamy ricotta, melty mozzarella, and zesty marinara.


Ingredients

  • 9 gluten-free lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook gluten-free lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve!

Notes

Feel free to add extra vegetables or meats to personalize your lasagna. This dish is great for make-ahead meals.
