Ingredients

- 9 gluten-free lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook gluten-free lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half mozzarella, and marinara sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining sauce.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil, and serve!
Notes
Feel free to add extra vegetables or meats to personalize your lasagna. This dish is great for make-ahead meals.
