Description

A creamy and flavorful gluten-free vodka pasta dish, perfect for comforting weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • Gluten-free pasta (e.g., penne or fettuccine)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
  • Vodka
  • Tomato sauce
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the gluten-free pasta according to the package instructions. Drain it well, but don’t rinse!
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Carefully add the vodka and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce and heavy cream, then reduce the heat to low. Let cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta directly into the skillet. Toss it to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  6. Stir in grated parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and omit parmesan cheese.
