Description
Juicy sirloin steak and sweet shrimp skewers drizzled with a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for summer grilling.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound Sirloin steak (Cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 pound Large shrimp (Peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (Melted for the sauce)
- 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (Chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine the sirloin steak, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper in another bowl. Set aside.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in parsley, lemon juice, and salt.
- Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating as desired. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if used.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat; grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and drizzle with the garlic butter sauce before serving.
Notes
Consider pairing with grilled vegetables or serving over rice. Can be made ahead by marinating earlier in the day.
