Ingredients

  • 5 cups bread, cubed
  • 1 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the cubed bread, diced ham, and shredded cheese.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Transfer to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until set and golden.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Can be made ahead and baked in the morning for an easy prep. Customize with leftover veggies or different meats for variety.
