Description

Deliciously creamy and crispy Loaded Smashed Potatoes topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, and sour cream. A comforting dish for any gathering!


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, preferably Russets
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  2. Preheat the Blackstone griddle.
  3. Smash the potatoes with a fork or potato masher.
  4. Cook bacon on the griddle until crispy, then chop it.
  5. Place smashed potatoes on the griddle, drizzle with melted butter, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Sprinkle cooked bacon and cheddar cheese on top of potatoes.
  7. Cover with a lid to allow cheese to melt for about 5 minutes.
  8. Serve topped with sour cream and chopped green onions.
