- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- Fleur de Sel, for sprinkling
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the room temperature butter, oil, brown sugar, and honey until smooth.
- Blend in the egg and vanilla extract, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
- Gently add flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until just combined.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop 3 tablespoon-sized rounds onto it.
- Cover and refrigerate for 1 ½ hours to firm up.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the cookie dough balls on another lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are set.
- Immediately sprinkle with Fleur de Sel upon removal from the oven.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
