Description

A delightful combination of bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, and fresh toppings that’s perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole bagel
  • 1 ounce cream cheese
  • 2 ounces smoked salmon lox
  • ¼ cup red onion (sliced thin)
  • ¼ whole cucumber (sliced thin)
  • ½ teaspoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Optional: sliced radishes, arugula, additional seasonings

Instructions

  1. Cut the bagel in half and toast until golden brown.
  2. Spread cream cheese on both halves while the bagel is still warm.
  3. Layer the smoked salmon lox on top of the cream cheese.
  4. Add sliced red onion and cucumber on top of the lox.
  5. Sprinkle with capers, then garnish with fresh dill, salt, and pepper.
  6. Serve fresh and enjoy!

Notes

Consider experimenting with flavors by using herbed cream cheese or adding avocado for a twist.
