Description

Tender chicken thighs marinated in a sweet, spicy, and savory gochujang sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Chicken Thighs (boneless and skinless)
  • 3 tablespoons Gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Green Onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame Seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a large bowl or ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Massage the flavor into the meat for a few moments, then let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook the thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing, then garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds and serve.

Notes

Serve with jasmine rice or quinoa and sautéed vegetables for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
