Description

A classic stir fry packed with tender beef and crisp broccoli, perfect for quick weeknight meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stir-frying for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the marinated beef, cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Toss in the broccoli and pour in beef broth. Cover to steam for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli brightens.
  6. Stir everything to combine, season with salt and pepper as needed.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For variation, add bell peppers, snap peas, or customize with different proteins like chicken or tofu.
