- 1 pound beef flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stir-frying for 30 seconds.
- Add the marinated beef, cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss in the broccoli and pour in beef broth. Cover to steam for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli brightens.
- Stir everything to combine, season with salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
For variation, add bell peppers, snap peas, or customize with different proteins like chicken or tofu.
